The person who is under visit visa is not entitled to work unless employed by the company. Nevertheless, visitors are entitled to look for a job and since this “culture” is now accepted in the U.A.E., visitors can be employed provided that he is capable for the job.

The Company who hired him will transfer his Visit Visa into an Employment Visa or Residence Visa which is valid up to three (3) years and the rest of the formalities i.e. Medical Test and Medical Card expenses will be shouldered by the Employer.

If your intention in visiting U.A.E. is to work, it is a must to bring with you, your credentials such as Diploma in college (if college graduate) or high school diploma (if high school graduate). Transcript of Records must also be authenticated by your School, CHED (for college) or DECS (for high school), Malacañang, Department of Foreign Affairs and UAE Embassy in Makati. Without these, your Employer cannot process your Residence Visa / Employment Visa.

At present, finding a job and be settled in U.A.E. will quite give you a hard time, though still, vacancies are there. Since competition is stiff between different races, majority of the Companies prefer to employ Filipinos for the reason that we are very courteous, efficient, hard working and for the quality of work we have.

Lastly, we would like to remind you that taking a chance to visit other countries and be settled do not always give a positive result. However, with sincerity, determination, perseverance and most specially, God's help and will, success will always be in your way.
